Seeking Interview Questions for HR Managers in Manufacturing: What Would You Ask?

poojasach
I am looking for interview questions related to the following topics that can be asked from a 6-year experienced candidate: IR, Induction, Orientation, Coordination, Payroll management, Recruitment, Policy-making, Employee management, Administration. All these are related to a manufacturing unit. You all can share your experiences.

Instead of preparing a questionnaire, it is advisable to ask the person about their previous profile, especially in the case of an experienced candidate. After receiving an answer, you can always ask them to elaborate for a clearer picture. Try to ask open-ended questions so that you can derive further questions from the candidate's responses.

Better to compare what you are looking for with his present nature of work. Then you can ask a few queries on it. After that, you can easily know whether he is suitable or not.

Dear Anonymous, the profile/job role for questioning in administration, induction, orientation, payroll, recruitment, and policy-making shall, by and large, remain the same for the manufacturing industry, IT, BPO, service sectors, etc. In general, the only differentiation could be pay packages, which vary from industry type to industry. You can certainly be guided by the candidate's previous experience, as suggested by the seniors here. Questions on employee management and IR can be prepared with a separate set of questions for these roles.
