One of my close friends asked to leave his job on an immediate basis without providing any reason. Additionally, his salary for six days has not been processed. Can he approach the labor office for assistance? Please advise.

Querist needs to give full details. What was the reason for this immediate order? What was his designation? What are the terms and conditions in his job offer letter? For getting proper advice, proper details need to be given.
