Facing Form 9 Confusion: How to Handle Missing PF Details from a Cash-Paying Job?

Dear Team, I am going to join a new organization soon. I have worked with two companies in my career.

My previous company used to deduct PF from my salary, which I withdrew after resigning from the services. Then I started working with a company that doesn't have any PF deduction from my salary because they pay me in cash. Now, I am facing an issue filling out Form 9 because the company system is asking for PF account details from both organizations, and I only have a PF account from one company.

Could you kindly suggest what I should do in this case? Should I choose the 'I don't have a previous PF account' option or not?

You are required to select "New to PF" as your previous PF account is already closed due to a withdrawal, and the next organization did not have PF. Therefore, you may obtain new details of PF and UAN. Select "New to PF."

Additionally, I have the UAN number details from my previous company from which I have withdrawn PF. Should I share this information with the new organization or not?

Notwithstanding the fact that you have withdrawn your PF accumulations, the UAN (Universal Account Number) you had can still be shared with your present employer. The same UAN can be linked to your present employer's EPF account.

You can share your previous PF account number, UAN (Universal Account Number), and the link to your present employer's PF account. Now, EPF contributions are remitted through UAN, which you already possess. What is Form 9? You need to use EPF Composite Declaration Form-F11_Blank, which is attached herewith. Please share this information with your prospective employer. Seek assistance from your employer.
