I think your query relates to the election of Works Committee members to be conducted by the employer under the Industrial Disputes Act,1947. Elaborate procedures are prescribed in this regard in the Industrial Disputes ( Central ) Rules,1957 from rule no.38 to 54. Since you are from Karnataka, pl refer to the corresponding Rules in the Karnataka State Rules under the ID Act,1947.
