We have deployed a third-party security agency, but we also want to ensure that it complies with all the required statutory compliances as needed in the social audits conducted by agencies for foreign buyers. Could you please guide us on what precautions and documentation are necessary for the deployment of security guards?

Does this also apply to other contractual services, or are the social compliance requirements the same for other contractual service providers like security or housekeeping services?

PSARA, as well as ESI, PF, GST registration, and intimation to the local police station, are also compulsory.

Thank you for the PSARA information. It is currently unclear whether the Shop and Establishment Act or the Factory Act will apply to the security agency that is acting as a service provider for us. The security agency is a service provider, and we are a manufacturing company. Similarly, on what basis should all the statutory documents be maintained?

Another question arises: if such a security agency is headquartered in Delhi and is providing services in Gurgaon, which state's rules will apply?
