Does Work Experience During a BCom Count, or Are Graduates Still Considered Freshers?

Dear Seniors,

I would like to know whether the experience gained while pursuing graduation (BCom) is counted or if the candidate would be considered a fresher after completing his graduation. Please help.

Experience before graduation is also considered if the company is not rigid on hiring an employee who has worked after graduation. If you have experience before graduation, it's a value addition and will help you acquire a good job based on your past work profile, the company that you were working for, etc.

Thank you for the reply. I would also like to know whether I need to apply as a fresher after completing my graduation or can opt for a higher position based on the pre-graduation experience. For example, I have 3 years of experience along with my graduation studies. Will this help me in securing a better position, or will I have to start as a fresher?

I do not think you need to apply as a fresher as mentioned earlier; some companies do recognize previous experience. You can try for better positions and also try to convince the employer in the interview that, based on your previous experience, you can definitely perform well.
