EPF - Pension Contribution cannot be withdrawn if the duration is less than 10 years?

Shyam Prasad Mora
Hi All, I have some query regarding EPF withdrawal.
I left my previous organisation 2 months back. I want to withdraw my PF amount. I see that there are 3 components in my passbook.
1. Employee Share
2. Employer Share
3. Pension Contribution
I want to withdraw the entire amount of all 3 components. I worked with the company for 19 months. I started my own business. So I am not planning on working anywhere.
Can someone kindly clarify on the below questions.
1. I read online that Pension Contribution cannot be withdrawn if the duration is less than 10 years. Can you please elaborate and explain me in my current scenario ?
2. One of my friend told me that I cannot withdraw Employer Share until my retirement age. Is this still applicable ?
3. How do I withdraw the entire amount ?

A: Pension contribution cannot be withdrawn if the duration is more or equal to 10 year
and not less than 10 years. So you can withdraw the amount from PF.
2. One of my friend told me that I cannot withdraw Employer Share until my retirement age. Is this still applicable ?
A: No, its wrong and you can withdraw the same.
3. How do I withdraw the entire amount ?
A: You can visit you organisation or PF office and fill composite claim form.

Withdrawal through online also after creating UAN on portal by self .. . now , no need of manual submission of form and employer's involvement.

Fill up Form No. 19 and Form No. 10_C along with a copy of Pan Card, Aadhar Copy and copy of cancelled blank cheque of your Bank account. Submit the same to your employer who will in turn certify it and submit it to the EPFO. Within two months your amount gets credited into your Bank accoun.t

That is where things have been quite frustrating for me. I have tried doing that online claim from UAN Portal. When I click on "CLAIM", I get an error which says "Multiple member-id's found linked to your UAN. Kindly transfer all to current member-id before proceeding."
I have logged in to the EPF Portal and submitted all my old member IDs to get them mapped to my current member ID. Its been over 2 months. The status still is "No Action Taken" in "Action from field office" section.

Kindly lodge online grievance in the EPFO portal. This will be sorted out by them immediately if online grievance is lodged by the member.

As per current update if you are using same UAN of your previous employment the account balance will be transferred to you current establishment PF account automatically. You can try online transfer process or get the help of grievances cell.
