Hi Guys, I want to introduce a leave policy for a start up IT company, need your suggestions?

I need your suggestion in how many working hours should be there, how i can mark late coming, unapproved leaves, how can i make leave policy more effective for employees as well as employer too. What benefits i can implement as a startup.

Thanks for your responses, We are into IT Domain, working for 5 days hours week , 8 hrs for full days working, 5 hours for half day and 6 hours for short leave.
