Why Can't I Access My PF Account Passbook Through UAN? Seeking Advice on Exempted Establishments

Dear Sir,

I have been working for the past 4 years in a reputed organization. They have a PF UAN number with active status. However, when I tried to view the PF Account Passbook through UAN, the following error message appeared:

"Passbook not available to this Member-id as this pertains to an exempted establishment (i.e., Trust). Requested to contact your employer."

I kindly ask for your help and advice on this matter.

It appears that your PF contributions are remitted to a trust managed by your company. Please contact your employer/trustees to obtain your PF balance statement. Only EPS contributions are remitted to the PF office.

If you are unable to upload Aadhar, please verify your UAN details online. Activate UAN before verifying the details. You can then modify your details online in accordance with Aadhar. The employer must approve it before Aadhar can be updated.
