Understanding Telangana's Leave Policies: How Many Casual and Sick Leaves Are Workers Entitled To?

K.Ramesh H.R
Dear sir, please guide me on what the Telangana government's leave policy is under the Factories Act 1948. How many casual leaves should be given to the workers in the calendar year irrespective of earned leaves? Employees covered under ESIC are not advisable for sick leaves, but those who are not covered under ESIC should be provided sick leaves. Could you please advise on how many sick leaves should be given in a calendar year?

Earned Leave Policy

For earned leave, it is typically one day for every 20 days worked in a calendar year. How many casual leave days should be granted in a calendar year, and how many sick leave days should be allocated in the same period?

Thank you for your guidance.
