Hi all,
I'm working as a S/W Engineer (Developer) in a reputed MNC with a job experience of 1.5 years. Since I'm more inclined towards HR-related jobs, I've decided to do an Executive MBA in HR. I have a few doubts regarding this:
1. How helpful would it be if I do an Executive MBA? I hope it's better than distance learning. Please don't suggest I do a full-time MBA since I have no intentions of quitting my job.
2. Since I have a job experience of 1.5 years in the development field, once I do an Executive MBA in HR, I will be a fresher in the HR field. So, will this 1.5 years of work experience be a waste?
3. I've heard that an Executive MBA is for those people who want to do an MBA in the same field as what they're working in. Since I'm working as a software engineer (developer) and I'm choosing HR as a subject, will it make any sense to do this course?
4. I want some names of B-Schools that are reputed in Executive MBA.
Please reply to me as soon as possible. It's urgent.
