Respected Sir, I hereby provide you with my EPF details. Kindly guide me on how to calculate the new pension amount I can receive as per the recent decision of the Supreme Court in the case of Mr. Praveen Kohli.
EPF Membership and Contributions
My date of birth is 01/12/1951. I became a member of EPF on 01/12/1973. I believe that after a few years of contributing to EPF, I started contributing more than 12%, i.e., 15% and 20%.
Resignation and Pension Details
I resigned from my services with the company effective from 31/03/1998, and at that time, my Basic + D.A. was Rs. 5,130 per month.
After reaching the age of 50, I applied for a pension. At that time, I also commuted 25% of the pension amount. The pension at that time was Rs. 876, and after commuting, my pension was Rs. 551.
Request for New Pension Calculation
Please inform me how much I can receive as the weightage amount of arrears, and kindly provide me with the new pension amount as per the recent Supreme Court rulings.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
Mudgal
