If she is covered by ESI, she is eligible to receive salary from ESIC. For this, she has to visit an ESIC dispensary within the first four months and enter her name in their register. ESIC will pay for 84 days (three months' salary).
As mentioned by Ms. Geeta, please ask the employee to follow the process. The benefit of maternity leave for 182 days will be paid by the ESIC.
