How to Correct EPF Details: New Process Explained for Employees and Employers

I am pleased to inform you that in order to reduce paperwork, the EPF authority has decided to implement a process for making corrections to names, dates of birth, or any other details in the EPF unified portal itself. According to the circular, employees will now need to apply to their employers for any necessary corrections. Once verified by the employer, the corrections will need to be approved. The changes or corrections will then be reflected simultaneously in the UAN portal of the employee.

No update on the employer portal to verify or approve such details sent for approval by the employee. Still, the Employer Portal has the same menu option under the Member Tab. There is no tab labeled "Details Change Request" under the Member Tab of the Employer.
