Traveling for Work on a Holiday: Should We Offer Compensatory Time Off?

Our employee was traveling for official purposes on a working day and also on a holiday (i.e., on Friday and Saturday). At this stage, are we supposed to give him/her compensatory time off?

Absolutely, yes, you need to provide compensatory time off. If there is no work, he/she would have been at home enjoying his day off/holiday.
