EPF Transfer Troubles: How Can We Resolve Issues with Old and New Employer Accounts?

Dear All,

Please go through the following points regarding EPF Transfer and provide your valuable suggestions:

1. Some of our employees are facing issues while transferring their old EPF accounts to the current one (i.e., Old - New employer).

2. It is showing in the UAN Member Portal that different PF member IDs are linked to one UAN while transferring.

3. Employees have submitted their old UAN in the current organization and are showing different passbooks under the same UAN.

4. This is also to inform you that the previous employer has not updated their Date of Exit from EPF & EPS.

5. Employees are not willing to approach the old employer regarding EPF Transfer.

Shall we proceed and make the transfer by submitting Form 13R at the current employer?

In continuation of the above, shall we proceed and make a transfer by submitting Form 13R to the current employer without updating the Date of Exit from EPF & EPS by the previous employer?
