Can anyone guide me on how to calculate the Basic and DA to reduce the PF contribution for employees? Currently, in our organization, it is Basic = 45% and DA = 35%. Is there any method to adjust the calculation?
Is Basic 45% on gross and DA 35%? If yes, then why do you want to reduce them and subsequently the PF amount? As per EPFO, both have to be considered for contributions. And you cannot play around with the Social Security Legislation like EPF, ESI.
