Frustrated with Delayed Salary Settlement: How Can I Legally Pursue My Case?

I worked in Manpower from April 2017 to July 2017. Now, four months have passed, and I still have not received my full and final settlement. My 20 days' salary is pending. They keep giving me one date after another for this. I was hired to work for McCain Foods. The company's office is located in Chandigarh, while my working area was Ludhiana. Can you please suggest how I can proceed to file a case against the company?

I would like to suggest you go to your management and ask for your full and final settlement. In my opinion, it is a better way of solving your problem. Speak to HR or the Operations Head and inform them about your pending salary issue. If they do not agree, then consider taking further action by pursuing legal recourse or approaching the Labour court.

Please escalate the matter to the topmost person in the company. Even if they don't agree, please go to the Labour Commissioner's Office and file a complaint.
