Terminated Without Notice: Am I Entitled to Full Settlement Under Indian Law?

vijay chaydhary
Dear team,

I am 27 years old. I have been terminated from the company without any notice and still have not received my full and final settlement. I was terminated for forging a signature and providing incorrect details of a customer. However, the company issued the termination letter two months ago.

Am I eligible for the full and final settlement as per Indian law, where the company is supposed to pay two months' salary and all allowances after termination? Can you suggest a decision for me to take?

Dear Vijay Chaydhary,

You are admitting that you have committed forgery and been involved in fraudulent activities within the company through incorrect customer detail entries. The company should have followed a specific procedure for your termination, and your admission should be sufficient.

It would be advisable to start looking for a new job and focus on changing your behavior moving forward.

Thank you.

Dear Mr. Vijay,

What full and final settlement is due to you? Please specify. Please specify what you mean by "terminated from the company without any notice." Have you received a termination order? Please provide all relevant details to understand the nature of misconduct and quantify the amount due to you.
