Can I Transition from BPO to College Lecturer with an Executive MBA and My Experience?

Hi, I have completed a diploma and have 7 years of work experience in BPO. Now, I want to become a lecturer/professor in a college. Will I be eligible if I pursue an executive MBA? My education background includes 10+2 (ITI) and a 3-year diploma in IS Branch, along with a total of 7 years of experience (including 5 years of experience in training). Can you please guide me regarding further education opportunities?

The lecturer's job has no technical relevance to the BPO experience you have. However, the experience you have gained by working for 7 years will definitely prove its worth in your day-to-day work, dealing with people, and reflect smartness in your personality. People not only gain nimbleness in their profession but notably strengthen their personality through their routine work.

Assessing the Value of an MBA

You need to check if pursuing an MBA would help you in obtaining a lecturer job. Will possessing an MBA degree land you your dream job? Or is there something technical you need to add to your portfolio, considering you have also completed ITI courses? Certainly, an MBA would assist you in your long-term career progression, but for now, you may need to restart from scratch. Ponder on and assess the technical suitability and relevance in your profile.
