Confused About Adding Sodexo Meal Allowance in CTC? Gross or In-Hand? Let's Discuss!

I need to add a 600/- Sodexo coupon in CTC Breakup. Please suggest to me, should I add it to the gross amount or directly to the in-hand amount.

The breakup is as follows:
Basic
HRA
CCA
CA
.....??......
GROSS
ESIC
PF
.....??......
CTC

Where should the Meal Allowance be included?

Dear Sneha,

The CTC breakup does not refer to the gross or net salary. Therefore, you can include additional benefits in the CTC rather than in the gross or net amount.

Gross salary falls under direct costs, while Food Allowance (Sodexo Coupon) should be considered an indirect cost. If you add it to the gross salary, the take-home salary will increase. In that case, how can you further provide additional Sodexo coupons to the employee?
