LWF Contribution Dilemma: Should I Deduct Again for an Employee Who Rejoined?

Dear Friends,

I have a small doubt about LWF contributions. One of our employees joined us in February 2017 and left after 5 months, i.e., July 2017. When leaving the service, we deducted Rs. 10 as his LWF contribution. The same person re-joined us after a 2-month gap. Do I need to deduct his contribution again in December 2017?

Kindly clarify.

You did not deposit Rs. 10/- deducted from him in LWF, right!! Then how will you deduct again, Dear Babu. The answer is a big no.
