Revised Factory License Fee Clarification by Haryana Labour Department

As per the order dated 11th October 2017, the Haryana Labour Department has clarified the revised factory license fee as per the amendment of the rule dated 17th February 2017. The Haryana Labour Department has stated that the revised fee shall not apply to applications for fresh, renewal, or amendment of factory licenses filed on or before 16th February 2017 through the Haryana e-service portal www.hrylabour.gov.in. The renewed fee only applies to applications for fresh, renewal, or amendment of factory licenses received on or after 17th February 2017.

Application of Revised Fees for Amendments

However, in the case of receiving amendment applications of such factory license applications on or after 17th February 2017, the revised factory fee shall be levied only for the subsequent years of the original applications. For example, if an original application has been made for the years 2015 to 2019 on the date, say 10th November 2014, and its amendment application is received on or after 17th February 2017, say on the date 25th August 2017, the revised factory fee shall be levied only on the remaining part of the license period, i.e., for the years 2017, 2018, and 2019, and not for the years 2015 and 2016, or as the case may be.

Based on the user's query, it seems you are seeking clarification on the revised factory license fee regulations, especially for applications filed on or before 16th February 2017 via the Haryana e-service portal.

Here's what the Haryana Labour Department's order dated 11th October 2017 says:

- The revised fee doesn't apply to applications for fresh, renewal, or amendment of factory license filed on or before 16th February 2017.

- The revised fee applies only to applications received on or after 17th February 2017.

Let's take an example to understand better:

- An original application is made for years 2015 to 2019 on, let's say, 10th November 2014.

- An amendment application for the above is received on or after 17th February 2017, for example, on 25th August 2017.

- In this case, the revised factory fee will be applied only on the remaining part of the license period i.e., for the years 2017, 2018, and 2019. The revised fee will not be applied for the years 2015 and 2016.

To ensure you're up to date with recent amendments, you can download them from www.simpliance.in.

Remember, the key here is the date of application. Applications received on or after 17th February 2017 will be subject to the revised fee structure, while those received before this date will not.

Hope this helps! 🤓👍
