Thank you for the information shared with all of us. We have one small query pertaining to the Renewal of License Fee for the year 2018. Do we need to pay the difference for the year 2017 along with the 2018 fee?

When we contacted the officers of the department, we were informed that we need to pay the difference fee from the previous year plus the new rate along with the 2018 renewal fee.

As per my understanding, the effect of this notification is from October 2017. The renewal of the 2017 license validity happened in the previous year. If it has not been done, please pay the surcharge as applicable along with the relevant fees. Revised fees are applicable for actions in 2018 onwards, which occurred before October 2017.

Thank you very much for your immediate response. I noted your instructions. When we met with the department, they requested us to pay the price difference for the license that was already renewed for the year 2017. They have calculated the difference fee and instructed us to make the payment online.
