Curious About HR Salaries? Let's Discuss the Highest Paying Roles and Profiles

Hi All,

I have one question: what salary (highest package) is paid for HR professionals? And which profile in HR is the highest paid?

I have a question because one of my friends is working in a big MNC, and she told me that a Manager-HR is drawing 3.0 Lac P.A. I am getting too many offers for a Recruiter or Payroll Executive-HR, or should I remain in a Generalist profile where I do not handle Payroll?

Kindly guide me... I am very confused.

Hello,

As per your query, there is no specific bracket for HR salary. It can be a real high salary or a real low salary depending upon the kind of work you do, the company that hires you, and your stability factor in the company. HR is not like other industries where by switching jobs, you benefit; this will go against you.

Your friend's manager can be getting a 3LAC package, which depends on her years of experience. Can we be able to rate it as good or bad?

So all the best with your career in HR. Keep in touch.

Natasha.

I know one person working as VP-HR in India, getting a salary of 1.25 Crore PA. As per the Indian list of 1000 highly paid professionals, the highest-paid HR professional is getting 6 Crores PA and is working with Bharthi Group of Companies. So, there is no fixed range of salary. It depends on the following:

1) Your Educational Background.
2) Institutes that you have studied in.
3) Type of industry and companies that you have worked in.

A fresh MBA-HR from XLRI, working as Management Trainees gets a package like 7-10 Lakhs.

Sanjeev

Hi Nidhi,

First, decide whether you like what you are doing. If you enjoy your role as an HR Generalist, why do you want to change it? But, if you are truly interested in hardcore recruiting, then you can consider a change in your role.

The salary package for HR professionals also varies from company to company.
