Is It Legal for an M.H.R.M. Graduate to Be Hired as a Data Entry Operator in HR?

KETAN2511
Hi everyone,

Can anyone suggest if an employee with an M.H.R.M. qualification is selected in the HR department as a DEO (Data Entry Operator), is there any legal claim?

Thank you.

Employing Overqualified Individuals for Lower-Level Jobs

Employing a person with higher academic qualifications, especially if they are unrelated, for a lower-level job that requires only minimum general qualifications is a matter of the employer's discretion and the willingness of the individual being hired. There is no question of legality involved in this matter. However, in the long run, this may not be a successful strategy as the employee may slowly become unsuitable for the job due to the mismatch in job content, low compensation, and lack of growth opportunities. Initially, the employee may have accepted the job out of personal compulsions.
