PF elgibility - total wages on the month was Rs.2000

One of our labor left on 04-09-17. And his total wages on the month was Rs.2000/- . Do we need to pay PF for him?? He is registered under CLR.

Dear Shankar, EPF contributions have to be remitted in respect of EPF Covered Employees till they are in Employment.EPF Contributions to be remitted till 04/09/2017.EPF Contribution to be remitted not on Total wages but on basic=DA=VDA only
What do you mean by "He is registered under CLR." Please elaborate

Once you have paid it you have to pay it till the last working day of employee irrespective of amount.
