Are charitable institutions/trust-managed organizations exempted from minimum wages? Please clarify.

Trust is managing what type of organization? What is the nature of the activity carried on? Whether such an organization figures in the Schedule of Employments list?

Define a Charitable institution based on the nature of the activity carried on. Whether any commercial activity is carried out for commercial considerations?

Thank you for your reply. We are a non-profit organization registered under the Societies Act of 1860 in Kolkata. We are involved in various projects such as village development, women's development, etc., and do not engage in any commercial activities.
