Dear Friend,
You had put in 24 years of valuable service, ultimately, you are entitled for all benefits admissible and a good service relief from the parental organisation. My sincere and best Wishes for your valuable service to the organisation, who ever it is.
As regard, you have not violated any of the procedures from the organisational point of you as they have requested you to collect dues from the customers (out standing dues), in fact your parent organisation know about these out standing dues. Each and every organisation have their own method of collection from the customers, the dues are outstanding for one or other reasons. So, you are not the only sole employee responsible.
1) Get your self relieved from services on the specified date 31st of October as the employer seems accepted your resignation/voluntary relief from service.
2) Some employers may not give relief to the well deserved employee from his organisation they give some kind of pressure to retain them, may you talk to your owner/HR and get your relief.
3) In case you are eligible for EPF final payment and due for pension in the year of completing 58 years your amiable relief will benefit you, so, have personal talk with your employer.
4) Assure them as and when your services are required you will tender the same with generosity
5) The Other way around will delay all payments due to you and distract your progress to the future,
getting your work done is important nothing else in life ( this is not an advise this is the practical truth of life)
6) You know very well of your organisation all these days, now, use it for your benefits.
Every thing in life goes well ...
