Facing a Legal Notice for Breaking a Company Bond: How Should I Handle This Situation?

jackgeller
I have received a legal notice for breaking a 2-year bond from the company. They had collected all my original documents and a signed cheque of Rs. 1 lakh when I joined the company. The company environment was not appropriate; there was harassment, and the training was also not good. When leaving the company, I had some medical problems as well. What should I do now?

Hi,

You should approach for legal help and take advice from a lawyer. You need to show him your agreement and clauses to come to a conclusion.

Collecting original documents and a signed cheque for Rs. 1 lakh is not in conformity with the law. As suggested by Mr. Manoj Kamble, please consult a lawyer and initiate appropriate action for recovering the original documents and the signed cheque before the same is misused. You should not have given the signed cheque and original documents at all.
