Termination Letter in Coimbatore: Who Gets the Copy at the Labor Office?

Hi,

If a termination letter is issued to any employee as per the contract of employment, to whom should we send the copy in the labor office if the employee is working in Coimbatore?

Please advise.

Copy of termination letter need not be sent to anybody except to the employee concerned. In case the employee raises a dispute against the termination, then you have to share the document with the authority concerned.

Please contact the employees' union of the bank as they will be able to guide you. Additionally, you must have very strong reasons for not joining duty in the south. The reason provided above is not sufficient to regain your job.

Before being discharged from the service, did they send you letters regarding joining duties? Could you share all the letters you have received from the bank?

Dear Chitra Anand,

The letter of termination to the contract of employment should be handed over to the contractor with reasons. If the contract is time-bound, you are going to terminate the services at the right time. If the contract is predetermined before the contract date, terminate the services with reasons validating the points clearly. This may not be sent to any authorities unless a dispute arises in terminating.
