Pf death claim - Who are eligible for getting Provident Fund (PF) amount and pension?

one of our two employees were died-What do you mean, 1 Employee/2 Employees
For Death while in Service:
EPF Contribution lying in Account will be returned
EPS Pension will be given
EDLI- Minimum Rs2.5 Lakh benefit will be paid to the Nominee.
Please arrange for submitting claim to PF Office concerned without wasting time
Please contact ESI Office for claiming Funeral Expenses of Rs10,000/-

Please advise further procedure after death of epf pensioner (wife of epf member who were passed away long ago), is there any benefit for her survival (children) ??? Please guide the procedure if they (children) can claim any benefit ???

My uncle expired on aug-16-2016. till date the pf office is not releasing any pension to their family members. can their family members are eligible to get pf pension.I mean his spouse and daughter.He died in his work place.i filed grievance and they received EDLI.But there are not getting pf pension.

There is one case where employee was absent since 5 months in office. For 5 months, Pf contribution was not happening. After 5 months, wife of employee came to hr for death pf claim.
please suggest is that employee eligible for death PF claim and if not how can she claim PF ???

Dear Sudhanshu, Please let us know whether Employee was on the Rolls of the Company at the time of death? During the time of Absence, what action Management had initiated? did Employee was Terminated? How come Management is not aware about the Death of the Employee.Please furnish factual information
