Dear All,

Please find the attachment, where we will no longer have to maintain Form-9 in physical form under the EPF with effect from 1st October 2017. This move has been taken to boost e-governance. The circular is attached for your reference.

Dear Anbu Loganathan,

Please let me know, are you from the EPF Department? If Form 9 is lost or defaced in the EPF Office, it is the department's responsibility. Form 9 is submitted to the EPF Office immediately after the allotment of the code number.

Have you submitted the Form 9 Register to the EPF Department?

Dear Srinath,

I am not from the EPF Department. I am an HR Manager. Form 9, one copy, should be maintained by the Employer, and another copy should be kept at the EPF Office. Considering the employee benefits, the Employer has to physically maintain Form 9 until 30th Sep 2017. From 1st Oct., e-records are to be maintained.

Regards,
Anbu Loganathan
