Struggling to Get My Salary Slip: How Do I Navigate TDS Deductions?

yogitajoshi2013@yahoo.com
Hi,

My annual salary is INR 300,000. The company deducts 10% TDS from my total salary. I need assistance in obtaining my salary slip.

Yogita,

The salary slip is to be given to you by the company. If you make the same, it will be treated as fake. So ask your company to provide you with your payslip. Also, if you are working as a consultant, then the breakup may not be there.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I am not creating any fake salary slips; I just want to verify the amounts of HRA, special allowances, and other components of the basic salary for my own understanding.

Dear Yogitha,

You have stated that your company is deducting TDS at 10%. Please peruse your TDS certificate to know the details/breakdown of the payment received. Alternatively, you can also refer to your appointment letter. Are you employed as an employee or a consultant? Why is TDS being deducted at 10%?

Thank you.

Hi,

My salary is 30,000 per month, and I have not received the salary slip from the company. Please suggest to me the breakdown of my salary, including HRA, basic, and other components. I also noticed that there are no deductions in my salary.

Thank you.

I have recently joined a company located in New Delhi a week ago. I have just discovered that my company operates on a 6-month probation period before confirming employees as permanent. As a result, they pay salaries in cash and do not provide any salary slips for the first 6 months. This means there is no official proof of employment for the first 6 months.

Please help,
