Salary Breakdown in India: How Do I Calculate Basic, HRA, and Other Allowances from Rs. 16,000?

I want to know the salary breakdown structure in India. For example, my monthly salary is Rs. 16,000/-. How can I calculate the Basic, HRA, DA, Medical, and other allowances from it? Please help.

Salary Break-up of Rs.16,000/-

Basic Salary = Rs. 6,400/-

Dearness Allowance = Rs. 2,400/-

House Rent Allowance = Rs. 3,200/-

Conveyance Allowance = Rs. 1,400/-

Medical Reimbursement = Rs. 1,250/-

Education Allowance = Rs. 200/-

Special Allowance = Rs. 1,150/-

Mr. Amit, please guide on how you have calculated the basic salary. What minimum wages have you considered? Kindly explain in detail.
