Can I Claim My PF After Just 5 Months of Work? Need Your Advice!

Chiinhauvung
Hi guys, I need your help. I worked with my company for 5 months and 5 days. I didn't complete 6 months, so is it possible to claim PF? My PF is deducted at 12 percent from my basic salary.

You can definitely claim your PF amount, however, you won't be able to claim the pension fund amount. You can claim the amount by filling and submitting Form 19 along with the required documents. If you've joined another organization and your PF is deducted, then it's better to transfer the amount because in that case, your pension fund amount will also get transferred.

Yes, you can claim PF, but the amount may differ because you have not completed 180 days / 7 months of continuous service. Therefore, the PF department may hold the employer's share.

I am facing a similar issue, but in my case, my PF account does not show any deposits for the duration I worked with the organization. I have worked with my previous organization for about 4 months. Why is my account showing a zero balance?
