How Can I Guide Laid-Off Manufacturing Workers to Find New Job Opportunities?

Anu0309
Hi, I need to deliver a presentation to employees of a manufacturing company (Blue Collar - ITI holders) who have been laid off to counsel them on how to explore new job opportunities. Basically, I need suggestions on how these ITI holders with 10-15 years of work experience should explore new job opportunities.

Kindly suggest.

Dear Friend,

Why a PPT presentation for these workmen? If you wish to help them, really have a chat with them in small groups. It will make them feel comfortable and give them an impression of personal involvement to help them. Counseling is better either done one-on-one or in small groups.

Thank you, sir, for your suggestion, but I am a recruitment consultant and not a part of that manufacturing company. The company has invited us to deliver a small training/presentation to their employees.

So, what the company expects you to do basically is to offer them jobs. Do you have jobs for them? If so, apart from a little bit of generic information on how their sector is doing, I think they will be happy if you focus on the jobs you have for them.
