Understanding Voluntary Provident Fund: Who Can Contribute and How Much?

Greetings for the day! I have a query regarding the Voluntary Provident Fund contribution under the EPF scheme. Who is eligible for Voluntary Provident Fund contribution, and how much amount or percentage can an employee contribute?

With regard to VPF (Voluntary Provident Fund) contribution, those who are eligible for PF can contribute to VPF. The contribution percentage should not exceed 50% of salary as per the Payment of Wages Act. Any deductions from salary shall not exceed 50% of the salary earned.
