Worried About PF Transfer Mismatch? Here's How to Ensure a Smooth Process

I want to transfer my PF amount from my previous company to my present company. In my previous company, my HR team took my Aadhaar card number, and my new company has taken my bank account number. Therefore, there may be a mismatch in my PF account.

What should I do to avoid a mismatch and transfer my PF amount? Please reply to me as soon as possible.

Please check whether your Aadhaar number is seeded in your KYC from your UAN portal. If not, seed it through your present employer. Once it is done, you don't have to worry.

PF has come up with the new initiative of Auto-Transfer of PF accounts. Your previous PF account will automatically get transferred to your current PF account.

If you tried, I would like to know what error you are receiving.

If you are getting an error like details mismatch, then you need to change the PF or Aadhaar Record and try again. My suggestion would be to change the Aadhaar details as per PF records (changing Aadhaar details is much easier than changing PF details). Name spelling, initials, and date of birth are all mandatory details that should match in both records.

If you want to change the Aadhaar Records, go to the UIDAI website and update (will take a minimum of 10 days to update).

If you want to change the PF Records, contact your present employer and submit the joint declaration with sufficient proofs (will take more than 30 days to update).
