Sickness Benefit: 70% of the wages will be paid to the employee during his sickness period.
To claim, ESI dispensary should certify the sickness and sanction the Leave days. By submitting the sanction letter and Employer certification on non payment of wages, ESI will make the payment directly to the employee.
To avail this facility, suggest the employee to visit the ESI dispensary when they are in sick. It is their wish to continue the treatment given by ESI. But, they can avail the Sickness Leave benefit.
