Overpaid EPF Admin Charges: How Can I Get a Refund from the PF Department?

Hi,

We have paid an excess amount to the PF as admin charges. Can anyone suggest to me the process with the PF department to get back the excess amount paid?

Just have a discussion with the local PF office, and they will suggest to you. The same amount can be adjusted in the next month's payment.

Dear Anonymous,

You can adjust the excess amount paid in the subsequent month's charges. The procedure to claim back the excess amount paid is quite cumbersome and long-drawn.
