What initiative HR could take to go cashless in company?

Respected Fellows,
I am working in one of the power generating plant based at Gujarat.Here Our MD asked about regarding \"What initiative HR could take to go cashless in company?\" And honestly speaking I do not have knowledge of HR Assistants role Particularly in this. So it will grateful for me if anyone of you give your insights in this.( Note: I even tried to find this particular topic in RESEARCH BOX as well tried to googled it also but did not get anything relevant).

Please identify the areas where you use Cash, then think about what alternative options you can take like cash reimbursement (conveyance or other petty cash) can be transferred to Bank accounts separately to employees, same small local cash purchases can be converted to established vendor etc.

Pay salary & wages, bonus, incentives, official expenses incurred by employees etc.through bank transfers only.
Pay vendors through bank transfers only.
Keep only petty cash for petty expenses.
