Notice period is needed while resign from the company in training period !?

Hi Seniors,
I am working as HR Trainee in an IT Company. my training/probation period is 6 month, While the period I am planning to resign and move to another company. My doubt is, in the training time is it compulsory to work for notice period after giving my resign letter? please help me and thanks in advance.
