EPF Interest Delays: When Will It Show Up in Employee Passbooks?

Dear All,

When will the EPF interest amount be credited to the employees' member passbook? As of now, EPF interest for FY 16-17 has not yet been credited. Can you please share the probable date of credit? Also, one of our employees' February 2017 contributions is not updated in the passbook, although we have paid the contribution and ECR is readily available with us.

Can you please advise me on this matter?

Interest for 2016-17 will be credited in April 2017. Download your latest Passbook to know the status. To which EPFO are you attached?
