Can We Register Multiple Establishments Under One PAN Without Branching? Seeking Advice!

Greetings!!

How can an establishment get registered under the same PAN Card number when having the same trust but different locations for each establishment? We have successfully completed the Digital Signature Certificate, employer PAN card, and Email verification steps but encountered an error in the next step of filling out the application. The error states, "PAN Number already allotted."

The establishment, which is already registered, can apply for a branch code through Form 5A on the EPFO portal using the ESTD ID. A new code will be generated for the new branch with the same PAN.

The establishment which is already registered, you can apply for a branch code through Form 2A on the EPFO portal using the ESTD ID. A new code will be generated for the new branch with the same PAN.

By mistake, 5A was mentioned in the previous post. Please ignore that.

Under 2A, the code number allotted will be different and new since it will be a new establishment. However, you cannot get a fresh establishment code number on an already registered PAN, to the best of my knowledge. If you find out the procedure, please do share it with me as well. It will be really helpful.

We have established a sister concern of our already running plant. We want PF and ESIC registration separately, but our establishment PAN number is the same. Please suggest what to do?
