Are Employees Exempt from New ESI Contributions? Seeking Clarity and Government Order

Dear Professionals,

I am working for a manufacturing company in Hyderabad, Telangana. Some of our employees are exempted from the new increments. I understand that we need to pay ESI Contributions based on the new salaries until the half-year closing, which is until September 30, 2017. Could anyone please confirm this and share the Government Order copy?

Dear Mr. Naidugaru,

An employee covered under ESI during the contribution period, i.e., April to September and October to March, will continue to be covered irrespective of their gross salary going above Rs21,000. The employees in question will exit from ESI coverage on 30/09/2017.
