roopanagaraju@ymail.com
Hi everyone,

It's been a long time; I am active again on Cite HR. I need your suggestions to acquire clients for my recruitment firm. I have a plan to start my own firm after working with other companies for about 5 years. The name of my consultancy firm will be Discipline Consultancy Services. Your valuable replies will be helpful to all new entrepreneurs who are looking to start their own firm.

Thanks and regards,
Rooparani

You need to first plan and formulate benefits/services you can offer to your clients, which can be different from other placement companies.

1. Offer complimentary Employment Reference Checks, Educational Reference Checks, and Police Verification for candidates hired through you.
2. Conduct initial personal screenings of candidates before referring them to client companies.
3. Provide competitive placement fees and flexibility in credit terms.
4. Focus on sourcing specialized skills and industry expertise.

Remember these aspects are crucial during challenging business times.

Advertising Strategies

Secondly, advertise on social networking sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.

Thirdly, attend management and HR seminars, workshops, and training programs to network with key personnel involved in hiring across different companies.

Fourthly, set up a stall at job fairs to promote and provide information about your services.

Fifthly, engage in cold calling via emails and WhatsApp in HR groups and company contact numbers related to your business.

Sixth, reach out to your peers, seniors, and former colleagues in your previous companies, leaving your visiting card to generate inquiries.

Seventh, display banners/posters of your firm at strategic locations like shopping malls and multiplexes with proper permission to reach a larger audience.

All the best,
Sumeet
