Do I Need Shop and Establishment Registration for a Guest House Office Setup?

If I worked for a government firm as a contractor and utilized a guest house as an office where some staff members stay in Dehradun, do I need to obtain shop and establishment registration? Please advise urgently.

If you are using an office, registration under the Shops & Commercial Establishments Act needs to be taken. If you are using the space only for the stay of your employees, registration is not required.
