Seeking Course Recommendations for Advancing in Learning and Development Roles

Dear All,

I have a team member who has 4-5 years of work experience. She has been working in the field of Learning and Development (L&D) and wants to know what courses/certifications she can pursue to further excel in the L&D field specifically. She is not interested in HR generalist courses, but rather something that she can apply to her current role or that will benefit her in her future role.

Please suggest.

When it comes to L&D, people have limited choices they can try. The best certification/qualification possible is CPLP. It's a certification course provided by the Association for Talent Development, also known as the American Society for Training and Development. This will be a costly affair, but it is recognized almost worldwide.

The second alternative is to pursue a diploma in training from ISTD (Indian Society for Training and Development). I recommend taking the time to thoroughly explore both options before making a decision.
