Can We Register 10th or 12th Pass as Apprentices Under the Apprentices Act? Seeking Guidance

Dear Seniors,

We are engaged in the service industry. Please clarify what are the criteria to get registered in the Apprentices Act. Can we appoint apprentices for training who are 10th pass or 12th pass, or only degree/diploma holders can be appointed as apprentices?

Apprentice act generally provides for technical apprentices. You need to get in touch with the apprentice advisor of your state and get the details that apply to your organization and industry. If you are eligible, the apprentice advisor will survey your organization and then give an approval stating the number of apprentices you are allowed to take.

I would suggest you look at NEEM as an alternative to the apprentice act for recruiting trainees.
